Shrimp Taco with Avocado on Low Carb Tortilla

Need a meal right now? With a bag of our tortillas in your fridge, a deliciously nutritious meal is never far behind. Of course, there’s a classic quesadilla brimming with melty cheese—but that’s just the start. Try out these combinations to deliver big flavor with minimal fuss. 

 

Next-Level Quesadilla: Layer grated cheese (we like sharp cheddar or queso Oaxaca) with your favorite jarred condiments to level up flavor. Think: Herby pesto, fiery chopped kimchi, pickled onions, or even jam for a take on the salty-sweet cheese plate.

 

Not Your Average Hot Dog: Our thin and flaky tortillas can double as a hot dog bun to wrap up a sausage plus all your favorite fixings. Start by grilling chicken (or pork, or turkey) sausages. Wrap them up in a warmed Rise & Puff tortilla, then add relish, sliced onions, and your other go-to toppings.

 

Grilled Seafood Tacos: Bring the beach home with a quick and easy fish taco. Lightly salt and grill salmon, shrimp, or scallops, then add a good squeeze of lime and wrap it up in a warmed  Rise & Puff tortilla. Add avocado, cilantro, and hot sauce if you’re feeling fancy.

 

Salad Wrap: Turn lettuce into a meal with the help of a flaky, thin Rise & Puff tortilla. Start by lightly dressing arugula or thinly sliced kale with olive oil, lemon, salt, and pepper, then add a shower of grated Parmesan. Wrap it all up for a quick and healthy lunch on the go.

 

Ham and Gruyère “Crepes”: Our thin and flaky tortillas provide a shortcut to the classic French favorite. Lay a Rise & Puff tortilla flat on a warm skillet, then layer on thinly sliced ham and grated Gruyère and fold into four triangles. Bon Appetit!

 

Greens + Beans: Craving a light but hearty vegan lunch? Rinse and drain a can of white beans, then set aside. Sauté spinach, Swiss chard, or kale in a non-stick pan over medium heat with a splash of water and salt until wilted, then remove from the pan. Add a Rise & Puff tortilla and warm until puffy over medium heat, then layer in beans, greens, and sliced avocado, and top with another tortilla. Cook on both sides until golden, then slice into third and enjoy.

 

Takeout 2.0: Need to use up leftovers without eating the same thing twice in a row? Throw that extra takeout into a freshly warmed Rise & Puff tortilla. Trust us: We’ve tried this with everything from leftover coconut curry to kung pao chicken, and it’s all been delicious.
