What’s the shelf-life and how should I store quesadillas?
Our gourmet quesadillas should be kept refrigerated or frozen.
They will store typically for 3 weeks in the refrigerator, and up to 1 year in the freezer.
They can be cooked from chilled or frozen.
What’s the best way to prepare my quesadillas?
You can cook your quesadillas in a variety of ways. Here are some of our favorite methods:
Non-Stick Pan
- Pre-heat a non-stick pan or oiled pan on low heat.
- If refrigerated: cook for 2:30 - 3 minutes per side.
- If frozen: cook for 4 - 5 minutes per side.
Air Fryer
- Set on High (380° F)
- If refrigerated: cook for 7-8 minutes.
- If frozen: cook for 8-9 minutes.
Microwave
- Place quesadilla inside the provided Crisping Sleeve
- If refrigerated: microwave for 1:45 - 2:30 minutes.
- If frozen: microwave for 2:30 - 3 minutes.
You should be left with a golden crisp crust! It will be hot, so we recommend waiting about a minute before enjoying.

Tortillas
What’s the shelf-life and how do I store my tortillas?
Our fresh tortillas are 100% preservative-free, so they're best kept refrigerated or frozen.
If placed in the refrigerator unopened, they will keep for 4 weeks. Once the pack is opened and stored in the fridge, it's best to consume within 7 days.
Our tortillas can also be frozen directly in their packaging for 6+ months. Just thaw overnight in the fridge prior to serving.
What’s the best way to heat my tortillas?
A warm tortilla is a delicious tortilla! For the best flavor and texture, pre-heat a non-stick pan or grill over medium heat (no oil required) or use tongs to rest it directly over a gas flame. Heat the tortillas for 20-30 seconds per side until they puff up, increasing the cook time for greater crispiness.
What’s the best way to serve and keep my tortillas warm after cooking?
Whether you’re hosting a party or just cooking for the family, everyone wants a warm tortilla.
Wrap warm tortillas in a clean dish towel or sealed plastic bag to trap the moisture and heat.
If you eat a lot of tortillas, you might want to invest in a tortilla warmer.
What are the best toppings or fillings for my tortillas?

What allergens do tortillas contain?
Our tortillas contain wheat. There are no artificial preservatives, conditioners, hydrogenated fats, sorbic acid, or metals.
Original Tortilla: Wheat Flour, Water, Avocado Oil, Sea Salt.
Organic Tortilla: Organic Wheat Flour, Organic Malted Barley Flour, Water, Avocado Oil, Sea Salt.

Shipping
How are tortillas shipped?
Due to the nature and quality of our ingredients, we ship our tortillas frozen via Fedex 2 day.
They will often thaw by the time you receive them and this is expected. Upon arrival place them in the refrigerator or freezer. Our tortillas freeze and thaw quite effectively with limited taste difference. They generally last 30 days in the refrigerator and 6 months in the freezer. If there is a sign of color change in the dough or mold growth please throw them out.
We ship from Monday to Wednesday to make sure your tortillas arrive fresh and fabulous. If your order came in after Tuesday at 5 PM ET, don’t worry—it’ll be in the next batch, shipping out the following week!
How are quesadillas shipped?
Due to the nature and quality of our ingredients, we ship our quesadillas and guiltless desserts frozen with dry-ice via Fedex 2 day.

We proudly use packaging materials that are eco-friendly. Our quesadilla orders utilize thermal liners that are curbside recyclable. You can dispose of ClimaCell in one simple step. Put both panels in your home recycling bin, along with the cardboard shipping box in which they arrived. It's that easy.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $100. Regardless if the order contains tortilla or quesadilla products.
Otherwise, orders just containing tortilla products are $14.99 anywhere in the Continental US.
And orders containing any quesadilla/dessert products require dry-ice for shipping, and costs $29.99 anywhere in the Continental US.
How do I change my shipping address?
You can update your shipping address as long as your order has not shipped yet. Please send the new address and your order number through our contact form.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an “order shipped” email with tracking information once your order is on the way to your doorstep. The tracking information is also available on the order details page linked in your confirmation email. Having trouble finding this information? Please reach out to us here.
Do you ship internationally?
No, we do not currently ship internationally. Sign up here to be notified when our fluffy flour tortillas are ready to go global.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
We’ll get this sorted out ASAP! Please send your order number and a photo of your damaged items and/or packaging to our customer service team: help@riseandpuff.com.
What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?
Someone else must have been craving tortillas! Please email your order number to our customer service team: help@riseandpuff.com.
Why are shipping costs so high?
At Rise & Puff, we’re committed to bringing you the quesadillas you love, delivered safely and fresh to your doorstep. Our general recommendation is to order +$100 worth of our product since our food freezes and stores really nicely. This way you receive free shipping.
If your order is under $100, there will be a $29.99 shipping cost. We understand that this shipping cost can seem high at first glance, so we wanted to offer some transparency into what goes into getting your order to you. You will notice there are price ranges in the graphic below. These ranges are based upon what products are in your order (ex: tortillas require less shipping materials than quesadillas), seasonality (ex: your shipment needs more dry ice in the summer vs. winter), and if the product is shipped via ground transportation or air. Shipping frozen products involves:
- Specialized Packaging: We use insulated materials to keep your quesadillas at the perfect temperature.
- Dry Ice: These ensure the products stay frozen during transit. Note: only for quesadillas
- Expedited Shipping: Frozen goods need to move quickly to maintain quality, which means higher shipping rates.
While these factors drive up the cost, we believe in making great food accessible. That’s why we take on a portion of the shipping costs ourselves—helping to keep your costs more affordable without compromising on quality or safety.

Ordering
Is there a minimum order size?
There is no minimum order, but we speak from experience when we say that it’s impossible to stop at one pack! We’ve found that the typical family of 4 eats 2–3 packs of tortillas a week.
How do I find my order number?
Check the top of the 'confirmation email' sent to you with your order summary. Still having trouble finding it? Reach out to our customer service team here.
How do I change or cancel my order?
We ship quickly, so we can only accommodate changes or cancellations within a few hours of your order. Send a message with the words “change” or “cancel” via our contact form and we will do our best!
How do I return my order?
Our fresh flour tortillas are perishable—that’s why they’re so good!—so we do not accept returns. If there is a problem with your order, please email a photo of the issue to our customer service team along with an explanation: help@riseandpuff.com. We’ll work to resolve the issue.

How do I update my subscription and access my customer portal?
You can easily update your address or manage your subscriptions via the Customer Portal. If you have an account with us, simply log in, go to the account page, and select the "Manage Subscription" button to reach the Customer Portal. If you don't have an account, go to your original “order confirmation" email and select "View Your Order", then click "Manage Your Subscription" to reach the Customer Portal.
To update your shipping information, find your subscription in the Customer Portal page and select "See more details". In the "Product Shipping Info" tab select the "edit" button next to "Shipping Address" to enter your new shipping information.
To update your billing information, find your subscription in the Customer Portal page and select "See more details". In the "Payment Details" tab select the "Update Payment" button. This will send you an email from Shopify to update your payment info.
To change the frequency of an active subscription, find your subscription in the Customer Portal page and select "See more details". Select the "Edit" button next to “Order Frequency” and update the value to your desired frequency.
To change the products of an active subscription, find your subscription in the Customer Portal page and select "See more details". Click on the "Product In This Subscription" tab to add or remove products from your subscription.
To skip an upcoming order or pause your subscription, find your subscription in the Customer Portal page and select "See more details". To pause your subscription, select "Pause Subscription" in the top section. To skip an upcoming order, select "Skip Order" in the "Upcoming Orders" tab.
To cancel an active subscription, find your subscription in the Customer Portal page and select "See more details". In the "Cancel Subscription" tab select "Cancel Subscription".
